MicroBot Cloud offers users the possibility to turn an additional smartphone or tablet into a hub. We call it a Soft Hub. A subscription to MicroBot Cloud may be required to use a smartphone as a hub.

- iOS 9.0 or later. Android 6.0 or later.
- BLE (Bluetooth 4.0 or higher) is enabled.
- MicroBot Push app settings: Location and notifications must be turned on and allowed.
Download MicroBot Push app. Download MicroBot Push app on your iOS or Android device.
Receive the authorization link (a.k.a Magic Link). Open MicroBot Push app, enter the email address that you've entered in your previously authorized device. You will receive your ‘Magic Link’ by email to authorize the requesting device.
Authorize your device. Find the email titled "Magic Link" in your Inbox, tap ‘Authorize’ button, and you will be redirected to MicroBot Push app to complete the authorization.
|Note: The Magic Link is valid for 3 minutes. If you don’t confirm your device within this time, you need to restart the app and enter your email address again to receive a new link.|
|Note: If you don’t receive Magic Link within one minute or so, please restart the app and try again. Please make sure your device is connected to the Internet and the Magic Link email isn’t in the spam box.|
Initialization. Wait until the initialization is completed, then tap ‘Done’.
Your MicroBot Push and previously authenticated devices (smartphone, MicroBot Hub...) will appear automatically on the left-sidebar.
Use your Soft Hub. Place your Soft Hub close to your MicroBots, within the Bluetooth range (30-60ft or 10-18m depending on the performance of your device's antenna).
|Note: Make sure that your Soft Hub is always POWERED ON, otherwise, the connection with your MicroBots will be lost. However, the connection is maintained even if the device is in ‘Locked screen’ mode.|
