Before using MicroBot Hub, you need to authorize your device, an iOS or Android-powered smartphone or tablet, to MicroBot Cloud.
Download MicroBot Push app. Available for free on the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.
Requirements. Before using MicroBot Push app, make sure your device meets the following criteria:
- iOS 9.0 or later. Android 6.0 or later.
- BLE (Bluetooth 4.0 or higher) is enabled.
- MicroBot Push app settings: Location and notifications must be turned on and allowed.
Receive the authorization link (a.k.a Magic Link). Open MicroBot Push app, enter the email address to be associated with your MicroBot Cloud. You will receive your ‘Magic Link’ by email to authorize the requesting device.
Authorize your device. Find the email titled "Magic Link" in your Inbox, tap ‘Authorize’ button, and you will be redirected to MicroBot Push app to complete the authorization.
Note: The Magic Link is valid for 3 minutes. If you don’t confirm your device within this time, you need to restart the app and enter your email address again to receive a new link.
|Note: If you don’t receive Magic Link within one minute or so, please restart the app and try again. Please make sure your device is connected to the Internet and the Magic Link email isn’t in the spam box.|
Initialization. Wait until the initialization is completed, then tap ‘Done’.
Authorize another device. Download MicroBot Push app on your new device and repeat the process. Make sure you use the same email address to register all your devices with the same MicroBot Cloud. All MicroBots that are linked to the same account will appear automatically on your new authenticated device.
Note: The number of devices you can authorize per email account depends on your subscription plan.
